The AluShip E-Bakdekker 840 is the largest of the builder's Bakdekker deck cruisers and is badged hybrid rather than electric — a combustion engine remains in the boat, so the silence and the access to protected water that an electric hull buys are not part of what this one offers.

The builder
AluShip cuts and welds its own aluminium hulls in Steenwijk, the Netherlands. The fully electric boat in the same range is the E-Bakdekker 720.
